Slack Etiquette

Slack is a professional communication platform for all of us, and there are certain etiquette rules that need to be kept in mind while raising cases for a reply/solution for the relevant pocs.Kindly brief all the associates to please follow the same. Below are a few basics to be followed with screenshots:


1. City/category Poc name is to be mentioned first as per the City/category POC list.
2. Keep all the floor TLs in CC in the next line (use keyboard keys SHIFT+ENTER)
3. Please do not use WhatsApp language.
4. Please mention relevant information regarding the case only and avoid using statements like Client told this, discussed with the client, discussed with manager/TL/QA, got revert on the slack thread and was asked to raise it here. This sounds unprofessional.
5. Use the phrases like " Kindly help with the issue' and "Please help with the resolution" after tagging the relevant poc(Ref screenshots under Do's section)
6. If a partner has a concern raised already on Slack and now has 1 more concern, please raise it separately and not on the same thread until and unless it's the same concern
7. If we revert on the slack thread and the TAT has been breached, please tag Kartik Sharma on that thread.

Example: This is how we need to raise on slack
